The Chapel

The Chapel is an installation that revolves around the display of personal memories, dreams and fantasies. It is an exhibition of my passion for collecting, which over the years has produced a collection of relics.

In the composition you recognise my love of light effects and night culture, as well as my fascination with kitsch and consumer culture. Objects like disco lights from my early teens, classic Styrofoam pedestals, Christmas decorations and laughing gas cartridges have a link to a the autobiographical anecdotes you hear in the voice-over.
