Journey along the most beautiful Dutch songs

Radio producer and artist Ruud de Wild takes visitors along the most beautiful Dutch songs and songbooks. From the 14th-century 'Hadewijch' manuscript from Ghent to 'Zij gelooft in mij' by Hazes. Through his personal choice from Dutch song history, Ruud de Wild shows how rich that history is and how many songs have been preserved in various forms. His well-known voice can be heard in the audio tour in which he talks to artists such as Roxeanne Hazes, Guus Meeuwis and Corry Konings.

The exhibition design consists of 8 installations depicting themes like children's songs, love songs and battle songs. To each installation Ruud added an artistic layer in paint, handwriting and printmaking.
